| We’ve gotten off to a rolling start and I want to Thank all the WOTM Officer’s, WOTM co-workers, LOOM, and Moose
Legion for all the help and support given me as we transition to the new year. Thanks to Debbie Moore for processing all the WOTM information for the Calendar for the Newsletter and doing all the flyers for us during the past year. Debbie did an awesome job on the Kid’s Mother’s Day cards, Kid’s Day Father’s Day flyer on one side and the Father’s Day Buffet Dinner host by the LOOM on the other side. This was very much appreciated by the WOTM and LOOM. Thanks to the Family Involvement Chairman, Barbara Webb and College Of Regents Chairman, Debbie Hall and their committees for hosting a Cold Plate dinner and 10-cent UNO and the Spaghetti Dinner and 10-cent UNO. These were very successful projects and I appreciate all those that supported and helped with these projects. I want to thank Tracey Clapp for postponing her P.E.P. fundraiser in order for the LOOM to host the Father’s Day Dinner. P.E.P. fundraiser will be re-scheduled. Thanks to Pat Maxey, Donna Jewell and Carol Groome for teaching the Executive Sessions and Recorder Audit Tech Training and Recorder Audit Training classes held in June. Thanks to those that fixed lunch for the group. Heard it was awesome! Next session for these classes is scheduled July 12-13. We had our first Committee Meeting and we planned fundraising projects for each committee. Thank you so much for all that attended and helped in the planning process. We had a nice Ice Cream social with all the trimmings for sundae’s and banana splits after our meeting. Those that didn’t come, see what you missed! Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have recently lost loved ones ,and to those that have been sick or in the hospital. We would also like to send Birthday wishes to all of the co-workers with Birthdays in July and August. “Happy Birthday”! Congratulations to Faith and Bobby Converse on their recent marriage and to Ashley Willis on the arrival of her baby boy! We also congratulate Ann Marie Currin and to Kristen Shook for receiving their High School Diploma’s. Pat Maxey was installed as the new College of Regents Board President at the 2008 International Moose Conference. This is a great honor and we are very proud of her. Membership plays a very important role in keeping our chapter going. We are continuing to work hard to keep our membership up so please invite others to join our organization. Dues are going up to $30.00 due to M.I. Per-Capita increase so if your membership is going to expire soon, pay them now and save $10.00. We will have a Back-to-School Pizza Night on Wednesday, August 6 with free school supplies and Bingo with prizes. We will have different activities each month and remember the activities and food is FREE for the kids. Please keep your calendar handy and watch out for the events and activities scheduled monthly by the WOTM, LOOM and Moose Legion. Our Committee Activity Nights are scheduled on July 9 and August 13 and our Chapter/Business Meetings are scheduled on July 23 and August 27. Membership Committee has scheduled a Meatloaf Dinner and 10 cent UNO on Wednesday, July 30. Publicity committee has scheduled a Spaghetti Dinner and 10 cent UNO on Wednesday, August 20. These WOTM dinners and UNO are open to WOTM, LOOM and Moose Legion. We would love to see there! WOTM, LOOM and Moose Legion are planning a Yard Sale in September.
